Refund Policy 

All refunds or exchanges must be accompanied by receipt

  • Refunds require a receipt and valid SDSU Red ID, drivers license, state issued ID, or military ID.

  • Merchandise must be in its original saleable condition.

  • Purchases made by check will require a 21 day waiting period.

  • Credit card/debit card refunds will be credited back to the same card.

  • Items purchased online at www.sdsubookstore.com or www.theaztecstore.com may be returned in person to the bookstore or shipped to us.

Course Materials

  • Refund period generally ends one week after the first day of classes for fall and spring semesters and two days after the first day of classes for summer sessions.

  • Refund periods are extended to the last “drop” day with proof of “drop”.

  • Refunds subject to a 10% restocking fee without proof of “drop”

  • No refunds or exchanges on Montezuma Publishing coursepacks, some digital course materials, course materials with open shrinkwrap, and clickers

Clothing, Gifts, Supplies, General Books & Other
  • Refundable within 30 days of purchase.

  • No refunds or exhanges on test preparations, CDs, DVDs, videos, audio tapes, catalogs, gifts cards, and Special Orders.

Computer Hardware

  • Computer hardware and iPods may be returned, unopened, within 14 days from the date of purchase.

  • Manufacturer approved and verified defective computer hardware may be exchanged within 5 days from the date of purchase. Manufacturer verified defective peripherals may be exchanged within 14 days from the date of purchase.

  • No refunds or exchanges on open hardware.


Computer Software, Electronics & Accessories

  • Computer software, electronics and accessories may be returned, unopened, within 14 days from the date of purchase.

  • Manufacturer verified defective products may be replaced within 14 days from the date of purchase.

  • Refunds and exchanges are available on current product only.

  • All sales are subject to the terms expressed by the manufacturer.

  • No refunds or exchanges on opened software and licensed media.

All refunds or exchanges must be accompanied by a receipt.
